1. General Policy
Donations made via Upfoundly are voluntary contributions. As a general rule, donations are non-refundable.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
In limited situations, Upfoundly or its payment partners may process reversals or refunds, including:
- Confirmed fraud or unauthorized transactions;
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate charges;
- Campaigns removed for serious policy violations shortly after donation.
3. How to Request a Review
If you believe a donation should be reversed, please contact: support@upfoundly.com and include:
- Your name and email address used for the donation;
- The campaign link;
- Transaction date and amount (and reference ID if available);
- A brief explanation of your request.
4. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card provider may result in delays, fees, and additional verification. We encourage donors to contact us first so we can review the case.
5. Relationship with Campaign Creators
In many cases, dissatisfaction about outcomes (e.g., reward delivery, campaign progress) must be resolved directly with the campaign creator, as Upfoundly is not the beneficiary of the donation.
6. Our Decision
Upfoundly will review each dispute on a case-by-case basis, taking into account available evidence and payment provider rules. Our decision may be limited by the policies of financial institutions involved.
