Legal Defense for Hatchet Speed

On January 6th, 2021, I stood with 1+ million patriots at our nation's Capitol to bring attention to a stolen election. Biden's DOJ came after me as it did so many other J6ers -- with lies, illegal searches and seizures, novel legal theories, show trials, fines, and prison. I was indicted in two federal districts, went to trial three times (one resulted in a hung jury), was sentenced to 7 years in prison, and of that sentence spent 7 months in solitary confinement and 17 months in at the infamously corrupt BOP facility at Fort Dix, NJ.

On January 20th, 2025, I was released and pardoned by President Donald J Trump. Unfortunately for me, the pardon as interpreted by the courts thus far only clears me of the charges in DC circuit court. My ancillary charges in the Federal District of Eastern Virginia are unaffected. While I served enough prison time to avoid being reincarcerated for the EDVA charges, my status as a felon has resulted in being turned down for work, housing, and even VA benefits, despite being a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy Reserve. I am in active appeal of the un-pardoned convictions, and have spent over $100,000 so far in this legal battle. My savings have been depleted. My health is poor due to injuries incurred on deployment to Iraq and other hot spots -- injuries which worsened in prison, and which I am now barred from seeking VA treatment for.

I cannot afford to pay for my attorney to travel to VA for Oral Argument and am seeking to cover those costs.
